An award-winning residential developer is seeking an exceptional Mechanical Site Manager to take a key role on a landmark London project. This position is ideal for a hands-on, driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced site environment and takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard. This role will primarily be site-based (around 80%), overseeing the mechanical packages during critical phases of the build. You will play a central part in driving quality, progress, and coordination across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all mechanical installations during the shell & core phase.
- Work closely with specialist subcontractors to maintain momentum and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Monitor progress against programme targets and proactively resolve technical or logistical challenges.
- Uphold strong health & safety standards and ensure compliance at all times.
- Coordinate with internal teams, site managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to maintain seamless project flow.
- Contribute to building a positive, productive, and collaborative site culture.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or similar M&E-focused role.
- Strong technical ability with a proven background in managing mechanical packages.
- Demonstrable experience working on shell & core phases within large-scale residential or mixed-use builds.
- A proactive, hands-on leader with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and drive performance.
- Solid understanding of current health, safety, and quality regulations.
