Job Description

Our client are looking for a strategic and forward-thinking SEO & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract basis.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical SEO, emerging search trends, and cross-functional global collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Global SEO Strategy & Capability Building

  • Develop and maintain a global SEO framework with best practices, standards, and implementation guidelines
  • Provide SEO support for website migrations and large-scale platform changes

2. Lead Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Strategy

  • Create and roll out a global GEO strategy to optimise visibility in generative AI search results
  • Build and maintain a centralised repository of authoritative content, insights, and data
  • Monitor emerging search trends and generative AI algorithms, updating strategies and training materials accordingly

3. Enable & Collaborate Across Regions

  • Run training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions to build GEO and SEO capability across global and local teams
  • Work closely with content, tech, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with global standards
  • Help local markets adapt global strategies while maintaining consistency and quality

4. Measure & Innovate

  • Monitor global SEO and GEO performance using analytics tools to uncover opportunities and share learnings
  • Stay ahead of the curve on SEO and generative search innovation to keep the business competitive

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience building global SEO strategies across complex digital ecosystems
  • Experience working with BrightEdge
  • Hands-on knowledge of generative search, AI search models, and their impact on content visibility
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to lead across global and regional teams
  • Experience with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Search Console) and analytics platforms
  • Ability to translate strategy into action with clear frameworks and enablement

Please note – this is a hybrid opportunity with occasional travel to our clients London based office required.
