SAP IDM Consultant

Position: SAP IDM Consultant

Location: UK Remote

Role Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP IDM across various projects
• Design and develop solutions to ensure seamless integration with multiple systems, including Active Directory, SAP, and other external platforms
• Build and configure SAP IDM tasks, workflows, processes, and jobs. Develop custom connectors for IDM using REST API and JDBC
• Troubleshoot and debug IDM processes, resolving integration issues across external systems
• Ensure correct implementation of security policies, role-based access controls (RBAC), and automated access assignments
• Support the migration and integration of legacy IDM solutions into new environments, including cloud-based systems
• Work on project delivery from design to implementation, providing mentorship but without direct reports

What are we looking for?

• Must have experience with SAP IDM
• Strong understanding of IDM integration with key systems such as Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, Exchange Online, and SAP ABAP
• Proficiency in SQL for data management and troubleshooting
• Experience in designing and delivering full project lifecycle IDM solutions
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript and PowerShell
• Understanding of SAP HCM integration within SAP IDM, including Virtual Directory configuration. Familiarity with IDM reporting and auditing processes
• Knowledge of API-based, event-driven architectures using REST APIs
