React Native Engineer (United Kingdom)

Position: Contract React Native Engineer

Location: Remote (UK-based only)

Day Rate: Up to £400 Outside IR35

Contract Length: 6 months (with possible extension)

Start Date: On or before 30th June

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile applications using React Native
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Maintain clean and well-organised code
• Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js
• Strong experience with React Native
• Proficient with Redux or other state management libraries
• Comfortable integrating with RESTful APIs
• Experience working in remote, collaborative environments
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD and app store deployment
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Git-based workflows
