We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the EMSOU Sensitive Intelligence Unit (SIU). This role is critical in ensuring that the unit meets its statutory, legal, and accreditation obligations in the management of Secret and Sensitive Intelligence. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of compliance, governance, and best practice, supporting both operational effectiveness and organisational integrity.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure SIU compliance with all statutory requirements, accreditation standards, and relevant legislation relating to the handling of Secret and Sensitive Intelligence.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes, policies, and working practices.
- Work closely with key stakeholders including the National Crime Agency (NCA), Sensitive Intelligence Network (SIN), and the Investigatory Powers Commissioner’s Office (IPCO).
The must haves:
- Experience of working within an accredited or regulated environment, ideally within intelligence, law enforcement, or a similar setting.
- A strong understanding of compliance, governance, and legislative frameworks.
- The ability to analyse and interpret policies and ensure they are applied effectively.
