Help shape the future of learning in policing. We're looking for a Planning Coordinator to join our Learning and Development (L&D) team and play a key role in shaping how we learn. You'll create annual training plans, schedule learning and manage development activities in line with processes and organisational priorities.

Using your strong communication skills, you'll advise colleagues, support new team members and work closely with internal and external partners to bring fresh ideas, innovation and best practice into our learning approach. You’ll be developing and commissioning a confident, proactive approach that meets the diverse needs of its customers and shows effectiveness, efficiency and value for money.

Working with regional Forces, agencies, individuals and professional bodies to develop and maintain links both locally and nationally to foster closer working relationships with them. Undertaking analysis of L&D plans and identifying potential problem areas providing working solutions to the management team.

You must have:

  • A Level 3 Business Administration/Management qualification or equivalent or have work experience to this level.
  • Experience managing data and preparing reports/KPI’s for presentation to senior management.
  • Be able to question practices in a constructive manner and use a logical and consistent approach to problem solving.
