We are recruiting a Peer Coordinator in South Gloucestershire. As a Peer Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and supporting a network of trained peers - people with lived experience who can inspire and support others on their journey. You'll work closely with communities, partners, and local services to ensure support is accessible, inclusive, and tailored to people's needs. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where no two days are the same.
What you'll be doing:
- Recruiting, training and supporting a diverse group of peer supporters
- Coordinating peer-led activities such as one-to-one mentoring, group sessions and community drop-ins
- Building strong relationships with local partners, including community organisations, health services and voluntary groups
- Supporting peers to deliver compassionate, trauma-informed and culturally appropriate support
- Ensuring safeguarding, wellbeing and good practice are embedded in all delivery
- Helping people access wider support, including smoking cessation services and wellbeing activities
- Monitoring activity, gathering feedback, and sharing learning to improve the programme
Driving is not essential, but being able to travel around the communities we work with is essential.

We offer on the job support and mentoring within the team for this role, as well as training with regard to drug and alcohol related topics that are relevant to the post.
