I’m working with a business who are building out their AWS contact centre capability and are looking for an experienced Amazon Connect Developer to take ownership of designing and developing voice solutions. This is a hands‑on role with a strong element of thought leadership, where you’ll be shaping how Amazon Connect is used across the business, while also getting into the detail of building and delivering voice flows.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build IVR and voice flows within Amazon Connect
  • Take ownership of the AWS contact centre platform, driving best practice and improvements
  • Act as a technical lead, providing guidance on architecture and solution design
  • Gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Work closely with internal teams and nearshore partners to deliver solutions
  • Support and influence vendor/partner engagement, including capability discussions
  • Contribute to the overall Amazon Connect strategy and roadmap
  • Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with AWS best practices

  • Proven experience building and delivering solutions in Amazon Connect
  • Strong hands‑on experience with IVR / voice flow development
  • Experience working within AWS environments (Lambda, Lex, etc. beneficial)

  • Comfortable working in a client‑facing / stakeholder environment
  • Someone who can bring ideas, structure, and leadership, not just delivery
