develop is an award-winning tech recruitment business that exists to raise the standard of technical recruitment. We are specialists, high-performing and growing across the UK, Europe and the US – and we are now hiring an Internal Talent Acquisition Lead to help us find and hire the very best people to join our team.

This role is perfect for someone who loves recruitment but wants to be closer to the strategy, culture and long-term growth of one business, not juggling dozens of clients. You will own internal hiring across sales, delivery and non-sales functions, and play a key role in shaping what a destination employer looks like at develop.

The opportunity

  • Own internal hiring across revenue and non-revenue roles in line with our headcount and growth plans.
  • Partner with Directors and managers to understand where we’re going next and build the talent pipelines to get us there.
  • Hire specialist tech recruitment teams across software engineering, digital transformation, AI and wider tech, as well as core business support.
  • Design and run attraction campaigns across LinkedIn, direct sourcing, Rec2Rec, universities and talent communities.
  • Manage the full internal recruitment process: outreach, screening, interviews, feedback, offers and onboarding handover.
  • Track pipeline health, conversion rates and hiring performance, and keep leadership close to what the market is telling you.

You will be the person making sure we meet our growth targets with the right people, in the right seats, at the right time.

What you’ll be doing day to day

  • Building market maps and talent pools for key roles and locations.
  • Writing and optimising job adverts and outreach sequences that cut through to top performers.
  • Proactively headhunting recruiters, leaders and operations talent who fit our standards and DNA.
  • Running slick, candidate-first processes with clear communication and honest feedback.
  • Supporting new starters through their first weeks, making sure they’re set up to succeed.
  • Feeding back insight on what candidates are saying about the market, our brand and our opportunity.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or internal hiring, ideally within sales, recruitment or high-growth environments.
  • Someone who enjoys sourcing, headhunting and building pipelines, not just waiting for applications.
  • Commercial, data-aware and comfortable working to growth targets.
  • Strong communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and build trust quickly.
  • High standards, high ownership, low ego.

If you’ve ever wanted to build the team that builds the business, this is that role.

Why develop?

At develop you get the pace and ambition of high-performance recruitment, with the stability and focus of growing one brand you’re proud of. We’re specialists, we care about doing things properly, and we invest in our people with learning, progression and a genuinely supportive culture.

You can expect:

  • Clear progression and a genuine say in how we grow.
  • A leadership team that backs ideas and moves quickly.
  • A culture built on accountability, quality and being human, not just short-term numbers.
