We're looking for a highly versatile UI/UX Design Engineer to help shape the next generation of customer-facing digital products and internal platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the full journey from user experience design through to front-end implementation. You'll work closely with developers to create intuitive, scalable and visually polished experiences, while contributing directly to the product rather than spending your days in meetings.
If you enjoy solving usability problems, building reusable component systems and creating clean modern interfaces, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Be Doing- Designing and improving user experiences across multiple web-based products
- Creating intuitive, responsive and accessible UI layouts
- Building and maintaining scalable design systems and component libraries
- Working closely with engineering teams to bring new features to life
- Understanding and improving existing customer journeys and workflows
- Contributing directly to front-end implementation and product development
- Helping ensure consistency, usability and aesthetic quality across platforms
- Commercial experience in UI/UX Design and/or Front-End Engineering
- Strong understanding of usability, accessibility and responsive design principles
- Experience with modern design tools such as Figma or Sketch
- Experience contributing to or building design systems/component libraries
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment
- Experience with any of the following would be highly beneficial:
- TypeScript
- Lit / Lit Elements
- Go (Golang)
- PHP
- Large-scale systems or platform development
- Strong visual and interaction design capability
- Clear, confident communication
- A pragmatic mindset and strong problem-solving ability
- Ownership mentality - seeing problems through from start to finish
- Passion for creating clean, efficient and scalable solutions
- A bias toward automation and continuous improvement
This is an opportunity to have genuine influence over product direction, user experience and front-end architecture within a growing technology environment. You'll be joining a collaborative team where your ideas and technical input will have real impact.
If you're someone who enjoys blending design thinking with engineering capability, we'd love to hear from you.
