We're supporting a leading consulting organisation on a major banking transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Operating Model Designer to join a high-profile engagement with a global financial services client. This is an opportunity to play a key role in redesigning and optimising critical business processes within a complex banking environment, helping shape the future operating model for a significant risk and change management function.

The Role:

As an Operating Model Designer, you will be responsible for analysing current-state operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing future-state operating models that enhance efficiency, governance, and business outcomes. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, transformation teams, and subject matter experts to create practical, scalable operating model solutions within a highly regulated banking environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Operating Model Designer
  • Strong track record delivering operating model design within banking or financial services
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation, change, or risk-related programmes
  • Ability to define target operating models, governance structures, processes, roles, and operating frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with senior leadership and complex organisational structures

Contract Details:

  • 2 days per week onsite
  • Outside IR35
  • Initial 6 month contract with strong extension potential
  • One-stage interview process
