I'm currently supporting a global consumer goods organisation undergoing a major Data & AI transformation. They are looking for an Enterprise Master Data Lead to define and drive their Master Data Management and Data Governance strategy, creating a trusted single source of truth across the business.
This is a highly visible role that will shape the foundations for reporting, analytics and AI, working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple regions and business functions.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities
- Define and establish Data Governance frameworks, standards and operating models
- Create a trusted single source of truth across Product, Customer, Supplier and Material data domains
- Assess current-state data landscapes, identify gaps and develop strategic roadmaps for improvement
- Partner with business leaders to understand reporting, analytics and data requirements
- Drive data quality, consistency and governance across multiple regions and functions
- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, analytics teams and technology teams
- Proven experience leading at least one end-to-end Master Data Management implementation
- Strong background in Data Governance, Data Quality and Master Data Management
- Experience creating governance frameworks, stewardship models and operating procedures
- FMCG / CPG industry experience is essential
- Strong understanding of Product, Customer, Supplier and Material master data domains
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving change without direct ownership of the data
- Understanding of modern data platforms, analytics environments and reporting ecosystems
