Hybrid Working (3 days onsite Tues–Thurs). We are supporting an innovative financial analytics business in the search for a Product Quantitative Specialist to join their growing team. This is a unique hybrid role sitting between quantitative research, product, client engagement and commercial support. The business is looking for someone with strong quantitative/data science capability combined with excellent communication and stakeholder skills — not a pure software or data engineering profile.
The Role
- Support quantitative research and analytical initiatives
- Translate model outputs into clear client-facing insights
- Participate in presentations, client meetings and stakeholder discussions
- Support proof-of-concept and R&D work
- Work closely with product, engineering and commercial teams
The role is focused more on insight generation, product understanding and value demonstration rather than heavy production-level coding.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong quantitative, analytics or data science background
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and stakeholder management experience
- Experience working with financial or investment-related data
- Comfortable working in client-facing environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
