The Opportunity
- Build and own a native Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Work on a product where AI & ML are embedded from day one, not bolted on later
- Develop on-device, privacy-preserving features (no data harvesting, no shortcuts)
- Collaborate with a small, experienced team who have built and scaled products before
- Influence technical decisions, architecture, and user experience from the start
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining a high-quality Android app using Kotlin & Jetpack Compose
- Integrating with shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules for business logic and data handling
- Implementing on-device ML features for personalised user experiences
- Building integrations with Google Fit and Health Connect for wearable data
- Working closely with design to deliver accessible, polished Material Design UI
- Optimising performance across devices, screen sizes, and Android versions
- Supporting Play Store submissions and release management
What We’re Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Solid understanding of modern Android architecture components and patterns
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is highly desirable
- Familiarity with TensorFlow Lite and on-device ML is a plus
- Passion for building performant, accessible mobile applications
- Comfortable in early-stage environments where ownership and initiative matter
- Strong preference for candidates with industry experience
