We’re working with a fast-growing Fintech company based in Central London that’s building scalable, secure, and high-performance financial platforms. They’re now looking for a Platform Engineer to play a key role in shaping their cloud infrastructure and engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and maintaining highly available AWS infrastructure
- Driving Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Managing and scaling containerised workloads with Kubernetes and Docker
- Collaborating closely with software engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines
- Automating systems and processes using Python
- Improving reliability, security, monitoring, and performance across platforms
- Acting as a senior voice in technical decision-making and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role
- Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Solid scripting or development experience with Python
- Experience operating production systems in high‑availability, regulated, or Fintech environments
