Digital Content Officer | Website Migration | West Midlands
6-Month FTC | Up to Β£28,778 | Immediate Start on Wednesday 7th
We're supporting a major UK organisation through the launch of a completely new website, involving the review and migration of approximately 9,000 pages.
As part of the programme, they're looking for two Digital Content Officers to join the project team and take ownership of reviewing, refining and improving content ahead of launch.
The role
Initially, you'll focus on high-priority customer-facing content, reviewing AI-assisted copy and asking the questions that AI can't:
Is it accurate? Is anything missing? Is the claim defensible? Does it actually sell the benefit? And does it sound like it was written for a human?
You'll then support the wider website migration, reviewing existing content, identifying pages requiring improvement and rewriting priority content ahead of go-live.
You'll also work directly with internal subject matter experts, gathering feedback and translating specialist information into clear, persuasive and audience-focused marketing copy.
- Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
- Commercial digital, web or marketing content experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Benefits-led, audience-focused writing ability.
- Confidence critically reviewing AI-generated content.
- Ability to manage high volumes of content against deadlines.
- Good organisation and workflow management.
- Confidence using standard workplace technology.
CMS, higher education and generative AI experience are beneficial, but none are essential.
Strong marketing copy judgement is the priority.
Due to a tight first-phase deadline, candidates who are immediately available will be strongly preferred.
