I'm currently supporting a team working on the Helix product launch, and they're looking to bring in a Contentful specialist contractor to help establish the core content structure ahead of launch. The role is focused on setting up the foundational content architecture within Contentful, ensuring the CMS is structured in a scalable and efficient way to support the upcoming UK & Ireland launch in May. This will suit someone who is comfortable coming into a project quickly, working independently, and helping define how content is structured and deployed within the platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing the content structure within Contentful, including defining content blocks and components.
- Building the content architecture and structure ("buckets") that will support the application content.
- Ensuring the setup is scalable and efficient, working within a limit of 75 content block types.
- Implementing non-menu content assets such as onboarding screens, welcome flows, and promotional content.
- Reviewing existing application content and mapping it into the new Contentful structure.
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure content dependencies are delivered in line with the May launch timeline.
Key experience required:
- Strong, hands-on experience working with Contentful CMS, particularly content modelling and content structure.
- Good understanding of content architecture within a headless CMS environment.
- Experience supporting product or platform launches where content structure needs to be set up quickly.
- Ability to work autonomously and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.
