A global FMCG business is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Manager to partner with international business functions and technology teams to design, deliver, and manage scalable digital and data solutions across a complex global landscape. This role will play a key part in enabling innovation, regulatory compliance, procurement transformation, and product lifecycle management through the delivery of robust enterprise technology solutions. The successful candidate will work across global and regional teams, leading solution design, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and strategic technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with global and regional stakeholders to understand complex business challenges and translate them into technical and functional requirements.
- Lead feasibility studies, define project and MVP scope, support vendor selection processes, and contribute to business case development.
- Design and develop scalable technology solutions and technical specifications aligned to user and business needs across multiple markets.
- Deliver global and regional IT programmes and solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Promote standardisation, reusability, and governance across enterprise technology implementations.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and data teams to ensure seamless integration and operational alignment.
- Manage project delivery activities including planning, testing, implementation, and post-go-live monitoring.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide guidance on the impact and value of technology solutions.
- Support procurement systems, ERP platforms, and integration solution areas as required.
Skills & Experience
- Degree-qualified in Business, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Significant experience in defining and delivering technology solutions that solve complex business challenges.
- Experience with ERP systems (E.g. SAP, Procurement Applications, Finance and HR systems).
- Proven background in IT consulting, solution architecture, or enterprise technology management.
- Strong experience delivering procurement technology initiatives and ERP implementations.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, enterprise data flows, and architecture frameworks.
- Experience leading global strategic programmes, including business case development and budget management.
- Strong project and programme delivery experience, including agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership teams.
- Experience operating within FMCG or CPG environments.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, bring structure to complex initiatives, and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.
- Experience implementing agile ways of working across global organisations.
- Knowledge of middleware, integration platforms, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities with internal and external stakeholders.
