Lead Security Architect
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in Paddington, London)
Salary: Up to £130,000 + Bonus + Car & On-Call Allowances + Benefits

The Opportunity
We\’re working with a leading consultancy to hire a Lead Security Architect for a high-profile, long-term client engagement. This role requires a strong technical leader who can balance strategic architecture, team management, and stakeholder engagement within a regulated, complex environment.
You\’ll play a key role in shaping enterprise-level security strategy, leading a skilled team, and delivering secure architecture across both on-prem and hybrid cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and define cloud and infrastructure security architecture
- Develop and present HLDs and LLDs to technical governance groups
- Manage a team of engineers and analysts across threat, telemetry, and operations
- Drive Azure cloud transition in a hybrid infrastructure landscape
- Influence tooling and platform decisions (e.g. SentinelOne, Splunk, Defender, Palo Alto)
- Engage with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We\’re Looking For
- Strong experience across Azure, VMware, infrastructure, and security tooling
- Team leadership in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting
- Comfortable operating within political or sensitive enterprise environments
- SC clearance (or eligible) and British Citizen from birth (due to project requirements)
