I’m currently recruiting for an IT Support Intern to join the technology team of a leading international private equity firm in central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their IT career to gain hands-on experience within a high-performing, professional environment, working alongside an experienced IT team and supporting users across the business.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will provide first-line IT support to users within the London office, while gaining exposure to the wider IT function.
Key responsibilities will include:
- • Providing first-line IT support and troubleshooting
- • Supporting Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint
- • Supporting Windows 11 and Lenovo end-user devices
- • Supporting iPhones and iPads through Microsoft Intune
- • Assisting with new joiner onboarding and leaver processes
- • Supporting meeting rooms, Teams Rooms and collaboration technology
- • Maintaining hardware and software asset records
- • Assisting with IT projects and technology rollouts
- • Maintaining IT documentation and knowledge-base material
ABOUT YOU
This is an entry-level opportunity, and extensive professional IT experience is not required.
We are looking for someone with:
- • A genuine interest in building a career in IT Support
- • Some practical IT support experience, whether professional, academic, voluntary or through an apprenticeship
- • An IT-related qualification, apprenticeship or relevant educational background
- • Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • A professional and customer-focused approach
- • A strong willingness to learn and develop
The role could suit a recent graduate, school leaver, university placement student, apprentice or someone taking their first step into professional IT support.

ROLE DETAILS
Location: St James’s, London
Fixed Term Contract: 12 months, with the potential to extend for a second year
Working pattern: 5 days per week in the office
Please note that this is a fully office-based position and candidates must be prepared to work from the London office five days per week.
