I'm looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-performing technical team supporting a global, hosted platform for an international customer base. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where reliability, problem-solving, and collaboration are key.

You’ll work closely with internal support and engineering teams, as well as directly with customers and external partners, to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level technical and troubleshooting support for global infrastructure and network services
  • Respond promptly to client infrastructure and network support requests
  • Support and resolve issues related to servers, dedicated network lines, VPNs, and exchange connectivity
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain globally distributed data centre infrastructure
  • Analyse server failures and implement long-term solutions
  • Document and track incidents, investigations, and resolution steps
  • Proactively identify and resolve open or recurring infrastructure issues
  • Improve and maintain infrastructure support documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Automate server deployment and configuration management
  • Work directly with new customers and exchanges to design, deploy, and implement network and infrastructure solutions
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Linux system installation and administration (Red Hat, CentOS, or similar)
  • Experience implementing and supporting cloud technologies, particularly AWS
  • Virtualisation and data centre experience (VMware)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a high-volume workload in a time-critical environment
  • Experience supporting electronic exchange infrastructure (e.g. Eurex, LSE, Euronext, CME, ICE) is highly beneficial
  • Familiarity with technologies such as multicast, Cassandra, VMware vSphere, Nakivo, and Zabbix is advantageous
