Infrastructure Technical Delivery Lead Contract | UK | Hybrid | Manufacturing / FMCG A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technical Delivery Lead to join its technology function and lead the delivery of infrastructure projects across a large manufacturing estate. This is not a traditional Project Manager role . The successful candidate will combine strong infrastructure knowledge with hands-on delivery leadership, working with technical teams, suppliers and manufacturing sites to make sure infrastructure projects are delivered effectively from planning through to implementation and handover. Key responsibilities Lead infrastructure delivery across multiple technical workstreams. Manage delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues. Coordinate infrastructure teams, suppliers and manufacturing sites. Review technical designs, implementation plans and documentation. Support site surveys, infrastructure implementation, testing and cutover. Work around manufacturing operational requirements and change windows. Challenge technical assumptions and identify delivery gaps. Manage supplier deliverables and hold partners accountable for outcomes. Provide clear progress reporting to senior stakeholders. Ensure successful transition and operational handover. Key skills and experience The successful candidate will have: Proven experience in infrastructure delivery / technical delivery . Strong enterprise infrastructure knowledge. Experience across networks, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, servers, cloud, hosting, connectivity and/or identity. Experience delivering infrastructure change across multiple sites. Manufacturing, FMCG, engineering or supply-chain experience is highly desirable. Strong supplier and stakeholder management experience. Experience with implementation, testing, cutover and transition. Excellent delivery planning, risk and dependency management skills. The ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
