An organisation undergoing a major Housing Systems Transformation Programme is seeking an experienced and engaging Housing Systems Trainer to join its project team. The role will support key system go-live phases scheduled for November 2026 and February/March 2027. This position will play a critical role in ensuring staff are fully equipped to adopt new technology, processes, and ways of working, with a primary focus on the NEC Housing system.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programmes for NEC Housing system users
- Deliver training across key modules, including:
- Assets
- Housing Advice
- Customer Services
- Support Services
- Go-Mobile (Assets, Housing Management)
- NEC Document Management (DM)
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be a confident and adaptable trainer with strong experience in housing systems and digital transformation, ideally with hands-on knowledge of NEC Housing modules.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering systems training within housing, local government, or a similar environment
- Strong working knowledge of NEC Housing Solution across multiple modules
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or transformation programmes
- Ability to conduct training needs analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to engage users with varying levels of digital confidence
- Experience creating clear, user-friendly training materials
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Understanding of end-to-end housing processes (e.g. asset management, housing advice, tenant support services)
- Experience delivering training on Assets, Housing Advice, Support Services, and/or mobile working solutions
- Experience with mobile workforce solutions (e.g. Go-Mobile)
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Knowledge of change management and user adoption methodologies
