We’re supporting a fast-growing, well-funded technology company in the consumer IoT and mobile app space as they continue to scale their product and engineering teams. This is a great opportunity for a QA Engineer who is passionate about product quality, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to grow in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality of software across mobile (Flutter), web applications, and internal systems. Working closely with engineers and product teams, you’ll help identify issues early, improve release confidence, and contribute to a high quality user experience. While the initial focus is on manual testing, there is strong support and opportunity to develop into test automation or broader engineering work over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manual testing across mobile, web, and internal tools
  • Writing, maintaining, and executing test cases
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs clearly and consistently
  • Supporting regression, smoke, and release testing
  • Collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers
  • Contributing to QA process improvements
  • Optional involvement in test automation and UAT

About You

  • Experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
  • Strong attention to detail and a curious mindset
  • Clear communicator, comfortable working in a collaborative team
  • Organised and methodical approach to testing
  • Bonus: exposure to tools such as Postman, Cypress, Playwright
  • Bonus: interest in automation, scripting, or software development (Python, JavaScript, or Dart a plus)

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing Flutter applications
  • Understanding of APIs (REST/HTTP)
  • Familiarity with Git and agile workflows
