I’m working with a fast-growing tech business based in Portsmouth that are building out their data function, and they’re looking for a Data Analyst to join them. The company are scaling globally (already over 1 million users across US, Canada & Australia, with EU expansion planned), and this role sits right at the heart of the business working closely with the leadership team and impacting a large proportion of their revenue. This is a hands‑on Data Analyst position focused on working with large datasets to drive real business decisions particularly around subscription revenue, retention, and billing optimisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations to track KPIs
  • Analyse large datasets using SQL and BigQuery
  • Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Identify trends, gaps and inefficiencies in data and processes
  • Investigate billing, renewal and subscription performance issues
  • Recommend improvements to optimise revenue and retention
  • Collaborate with teams such as Finance and Marketing
  • Support improvements in how data is captured and used across the business

  • Around 3+ years’ experience in a hands‑on Data Analyst role
  • Experience in SaaS/Subscription based environment
  • Working with recurring revenue for performance
  • Strong experience with SQL and BigQuery (essential)

  • Ability to think both analytically and commercially
