Contract Go Engineer Needed - Outside IR35
Up to £700 per day
Remote (ideally 1 day per week in London)
12-month contract (high likelihood of extension)
I am currently hiring for an experienced Contract Go Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering a major project for a sports betting brand ahead of the 2026 World Cup. You will work alongside a mix of talented permanent and contract engineers on a high-throughput, mission-critical backend platform.
What we’re looking for:
- Expert-level Go engineering skills
- Strong understanding of concurrency & multithreading
- Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud deployments (currently using Azure but will be shifting over to AWS)
- Postgres and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Background in Sports Betting or Financial Technology (highly desirable)
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment with senior engineers and architects
The offer:
- Outside IR35
- £500-£700 per day
- 12-month contract with strong extension potential
- Remote first but they would love to have Engineers that can come into the London office 1 day per week to collaborate with the team.
