3rd Line Engineer
White City, London (4 Days Onsite)
£350-450 per day

I'm currently supporting a well-known retail brand that is investing heavily in its internal IT function and looking to hire an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in improving and stabilising a large Microsoft-based environment, working across infrastructure, cloud, networking and security technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
• Providing 3rd line support for complex technical issues
• Managing Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
• Supporting Azure infrastructure and cloud services
• Leading patching, vulnerability management and security improvements
• Managing backup and disaster recovery processes
• Working with networking, firewalls and email security platforms
• Supporting infrastructure upgrades, migrations and improvement projects
• Collaborating with a team of experienced IT professionals
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in a 3rd Line Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or Senior IT Support role
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows experience
• Azure administration experience
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting medium to large-sized organisations
• Strong networking and infrastructure knowledge
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues
Nice To Have
• Retail or e-commerce experience
• CCNA or Azure certifications
• Experience with Mimecast, Proofpoint or Microsoft Defender
• Backup & Disaster Recovery expertise
• PowerShell scripting experience
