Overview
I’m supporting a time-sensitive engagement for a financial services client that has recently built a Visa card product. The product build is complete; however, the business now needs senior cards and payments expertise to help take the product from build into operational go-live and commercialisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior Cards & Payments SME for a Visa card product
- Advise on end-to-end operationalisation such as card processing flows, fraud considerations, go-live readiness and customer delivery and servicing models
- Support commercialisation and launch planning, translating product build into real-world operations
- Provide senior-level reassurance and confidence to client stakeholders
- Partner with junior delivery team members, providing guidance and oversight
- Focus primarily on technical and operational expertise, alongside lead partners handling broader commercial discussions
Required Experience
- Partner-level or equivalent seniority
- Strong Visa card expertise (direct Visa experience or Visa-leaning background essential)
- Proven experience taking card products from build to operational go-live
- Deep understanding of:
- Card processing and issuing models
- Fraud and risk considerations in card programmes
- Operational readiness and customer delivery
