We’re partnering with a fast-growing, technology-led startup building AI-enhanced consumer experiences at scale. Their platform powers a multi-brand ecosystem across commerce, operations, and data infrastructure, underpinned by proprietary technology and automation. As they scale, they’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join a high-impact product engineering team. AI-assisted development is deeply embedded into how they operate - from agentic coding workflows and autonomous tooling to rapid prototyping, testing, and deployment. They see modern AI tooling as a force multiplier for exceptional engineers.

This is a hybrid role in London.

What You’ll Do
  • AI-Native Software Development: Leverage LLM-powered and agentic engineering tools to navigate large codebases, accelerate implementation, automate workflows, and ship production-ready features across a modern full-stack environment.
  • Build Intelligent, Scalable Systems: Design and develop end-to-end applications spanning backend services, APIs, data models, and highly performant frontend experiences using Python and React.
  • Shape AI-First Engineering Practices: Help define best practices around AI-assisted software development, evaluation, testing, and developer productivity. Drive adoption of high-leverage tooling and workflows across the engineering organisation.
  • Operate with High Ownership: Work closely with product and leadership teams to solve complex technical problems, move quickly, and make pragmatic architectural decisions in a fast-scaling environment.
Who You Are
  • AI-Enabled Engineer: You actively use modern AI tooling (e.g. coding agents, copilots, workflow automation, LLM-assisted debugging/refactoring) to improve speed and output quality, while applying strong engineering judgment and validation.
  • Strong Full-Stack Builder: You’re comfortable owning systems end-to-end - from backend architecture and databases through to polished frontend delivery.
  • Product-Minded Problem Solver: You balance speed with quality, make thoughtful technical trade-offs, and thrive in ambiguous, high-autonomy environments.
  • High Agency Operator: You’re proactive, execution-focused, and energised by building in fast-moving teams where engineers have significant ownership and impact.
Technical Skills
  • Strong full-stack engineering experience with Python and React.
