We are seeking an experienced PLM Solution Architect to support a large-scale, global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) transformation programme within the Research & Development division of a global food manufacturer. This is a newly created strategic role that will play a critical part in driving the successful implementation of a Siemens PLM solution across multiple regions.

The successful candidate will combine deep PLM domain expertise in food manufacturing with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities and hands-on implementation experience within complex food manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the end-to-end implementation of the Siemens PLM platform across the organisation.
  • Act as the primary PLM subject matter expert for the global R&D transformation programme.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across: Research & Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Distribution.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable PLM solution designs and architectures.
  • Support early-stage RFP and vendor engagement activities where required.
  • Ensure alignment between business processes, data governance, and PLM system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical and business leadership to support ongoing transformation initiatives.
  • Drive process alignment across the full product lifecycle, including: Idea initiation and innovation, Raw materials management, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Specifications and formulations, Packaging and labelling.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience as a PLM Solution Architect or similar senior PLM leadership role.
  • Strong end-to-end understanding of Product Lifecycle Management processes.
  • Hands-on experience delivering PLM implementations within complex manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with Siemens PLM solutions is strongly preferred, though experience with other leading PLM platforms will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage cross-functional global teams.
  • Strong understanding of R&D and innovation processes, within food manufacturing.
  • Ability to operate effectively in large-scale transformation programmes with multiple stakeholders and regions.
  • Experience contributing to solution selection, RFPs, and vendor evaluation processes is advantageous.
Preferred Background
  • Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience, although candidates with strong PLM implementation expertise and demonstrable delivery success will also be considered.
  • Experience working in global or multi-regional organisations.
  • Experience within food manufacturing.
  • Exposure to enterprise transformation programmes and change management initiatives.
