Are you an experienced Systems Trainer with hands-on knowledge of NEC Housing? We're looking for a confident, engaging trainer to join a major Housing Systems Transformation Programme and play a pivotal role in two high-profile system go-lives for local government authority.
This is an exciting contract opportunity (outside IR35) for someone who thrives in large-scale implementation environments and knows how to bring users on the journey.
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop, and deliver training across multiple NEC Housing modules including Assets, Housing Advice, Customer Services, Support Services, Go-Mobile, and NEC Document Management.
- Build user guides and e-learning content.
- Run face-to-face and virtual sessions, ensuring staff are confident and ready for go-live.
- Provide floor-walking support during implementation.
- Work closely with project teams and subject matter experts.
- Continuously refine your approach based on user feedback.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience delivering systems training in housing, local government, or a similar environment.
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC Housing Solution across multiple modules.
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or transformation programmes.
- Ability to conduct training needs analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage users of all digital confidence levels.
- Experience creating clear, accessible training materials.
Desirable
- Knowledge of end-to-end housing processes (asset management, housing advice, tenant support).
- Experience with mobile workforce solutions such as Go-Mobile.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Understanding of change management and user adoption methodologies.
