A leading financial institution is searching for an SC Cleared OCI Platform Admin Engineer. This role is central to their ambitious Finance Modernisation Programme.
About the Programme:
This transformative 18-month initiative is centred around implementing the Oracle Fusion ERP suite to enhance Finance, Procurement, and Recruitment processes. Leveraging existing Oracle HCM tools, the programme aims to catalyze significant transformation within the bank's broader business areas.
About the Role:
As an OCI Platform Admin Engineer, you will play an integral role in the Programme Management team. Your responsibilities will include the development and management of sophisticated cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a comprehensive range of cloud infrastructure components including VMs, storage, and networking.
- Oversee the deployment and management of OCI PaaS and SaaS services, ensuring they meet bank specifications.
- Monitor, audit, and enhance the performance and cost-efficiency of the OCI environment.
- Spearhead automation initiatives to simplify cloud infrastructure management.
- Engage closely with IT teams and external partners to support and advance the OCI platform.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and collaborate with Cyber, Audit, and Infrastructure teams to maintain stringent controls.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge in Tech Oracle Cloud solutions, especially proficient in OCI management and monitoring.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Oracle Managed Automatic Backups, and cost management in cloud environments.
- Proven ability to develop automation strategies for efficient cloud management.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and managing external partnerships.
