About The Role
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
The People Operations Director will be responsible for leading, and elevating, our centralised People Services Hub a function that is just 18 months young and full of potential. In this pivotal role, youll drive operational excellence in HR service delivery, drive and implement talent technology solutions (primary suite: SAP Successfactors), streamline key people processes, leverage people analytics insights to inform decision-making, and manage key reward and employee benefits projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement and digital transformation in HR, driving efficiency and impact.
What Youll Bring To The Role

  • Proven experience in a senior HR operations or shared services leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in HR technology, preferably SAP Successfactors: systems implementation, and process automation.
  • Experience with people analytics, data-driven decision-making, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of compensation, reward frameworks, and employee benefits administration.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of driving high-performing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and change leadership abilities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with complex HR structures.
  • Competent understanding of UK employment law and compliance requirements.

Working

We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working. Our standard working hours are 9:30 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether thats in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
