As Head of Enterprise-Wide Services, you will be leading our product management and technology engineering teams who are dedicated to delivering and evolving the Group's enterprise-wide technology services. These services are vital to delivering an effortless experience for both our colleagues and customers.
As a senior leader within the Group IT function, the role will participate as the Technology Lead assigned to relevant strategic transformation initiatives, leading the delivery of enabling technology. You will leverage expertise, experience, and judgement in order to help shape the approach, strategy and delivery mechanics of transformation programmes.
You will engage regularly with senior leadership, including executive directors, positively influencing, and enabling effective decision making. You will drive digital transformation, delivering an effortless experience for colleagues and customers, integrating the Group onto a common set of technology solutions.
This is a home-based role, but the ideal candidate will be located within a commutable distance to our Preston office, with a requirement to work from the office and collaborate with the team 2/3 times a week.
We are looking for applications who share our passion for customer service and understand how the systems we use influence this. You will have a proven track record of working within an IT leadership role within a large & complex organisation. Experience of establishing enterprise-wide technology services is a must as is experience of building, leading and developing large, high skilled, high performing teams. You will have a proven track record in technology delivery and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle, cloud management and monitoring platforms.
