Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer to join the team, to provide technical assistance during the installation of Stannah Stairlifts. The Technical Support Engineer provides essential Stairlift technical support to the Operations, sales and Installations team as part of a small Stairlift Technical Support team. This role involves travelling to sites to resolve technical issues which occur during or immediately after installation. The Technical Support Engineer will be expected to work at various sites across the South of England, whilst managing associated administrative tasks from home. The Technical Support Engineer role is suited to an Engineer, Technician or Professional within the Stairlift industry. Similar roles include Stairlift Technician, Field Support Engineer or Installation Support Engineer. The ideal candidate must have in depth knowledge and experience of working with Stairlift products and models. The Technical Support Engineer position is a great opportunity to work autonomously, managing an individual work schedule and liaising with internal teams. This includes the customer contact centre, installation depots, manufacturing, engineering and service support. It also provides opportunity for knowledge sharing and mentoring of engineers within the team who seek technical advice across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and practical engineering support for Stairlift products
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and help with customer sales and installations
- Create site visit reports
- Assist with site audits and site monitoring
Minimum Requirements:
- Good Standard of knowledge of Stairlift Products and Models
- NVQ2 stairlift installation desirable
