Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Assistant role based in St Albans. The Pharmacy Assistant will support the pharmacy team with day-to-day operations, including receiving and processing prescriptions, preparing medications under supervision, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves assisting customers at the counter, providing clear information on pharmacy services, and handling phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette. The Pharmacy Assistant will help manage stock and inventory, ensure shelves are well organized, support basic administrative tasks, and follow all relevant safety and confidentiality guidelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in handling prescriptions and working in a pharmacy environment.
- Candidates should possess strong customer service and professional phone etiquette skills.
- Candidates should possess inventory management skills, including stock rotation and record keeping.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and basic math skills.
