Der Site Manager ist der zentrale Ansprechpartner für alle Aufgaben im Zusammenhang mit UK Telehouse. Der Standortleiter berichtet an den Teamleiter des Site Managements in Deutschland. Die Position erfordert eine sehr unabhängige Arbeitsmoral und bietet ein hohes Maß an Freiheit bei der Organisation der Arbeitsbelastung sowie die Möglichkeit, sich auf der Grundlage neuer Entwicklungen in der Branche neue Fähigkeiten anzueignen.
In dieser Position wird der Site Manager UK mit den Planungs- und Rollout-Teams in Deutschland zusammenarbeiten, um Implementierungsprojekte zu koordinieren und umzusetzen. Verantwortlich für die Zusammenarbeit mit Telekommunikationsanbietern und Lieferanten, um Angebote einzuholen, Bestellungen aufzugeben, Lieferungen zu koordinieren, die Installation zu überwachen und die Finanzen und Buchhaltung zu unterstützen, um Installationsdienstleistungen, Klimaanlagen, Wechsel- und Gleichstrom, Weltraum, Telekommunikationsausrüstung und andere Teile wie Schränke, Kabel und Stecker, Panels usw. sicherzustellen.
Verantwortlich für die Unterstützung des International Network Management Center (INMC) und anderer NOCs vor Ort bei der Behebung von Problemen mit Sprach-, IP- und Transportgeräten. Sie sind der Eskalationspunkt für die NOCs und sind dafür verantwortlich, die Wartungsanbieter zu verwalten und die Zugriffslisten auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten. Darüber hinaus werden kleinere Installationen, Upgrades und Änderungen vom Site Manager durchgeführt. Diese Aufgaben werden häufig außerhalb der Geschäftszeiten ausgeführt.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten/Qualifikationen:
- Anerkannte Ausbildung im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Telekommunikation, Informatik oder ein Studium mit vergleichbarem Inhalt und mehrjähriger Erfahrung
- Mehrjährige praktische Felderfahrung mit Tests und Problemlösungen auf der physikalischen Ebene sowie Grundkenntnisse in OTDR und OSA.
- Kenntnisse des internationalen Spediteur-/Großhandelsgeschäfts
- Erfahrung mit dem Konzept von Carrier Hotels, Rechenzentren, Telehouse, Interconnections, NNIs usw.
- Praktische Kenntnisse in der Installation und Verkabelung von Geräten wie Routern und WDM-Knoten sowie grundlegende Konfigurationskenntnisse über CLI und GUI.
- Improvisationstalent und proaktives Engagement
- Sehr gute englische Schreib- und Sprechkenntnisse.
- Langjährige Fähigkeit, mit Fachleuten aller Ebenen in einem globalen Team zu kommunizieren
- Flexibilität, außerhalb der Geschäftszeiten und gelegentlich am Wochenende zu arbeiten, ist unerlässlich.
- Unverzichtbar, um in der Nachtschicht arbeiten zu können, da dies bei Kundenmigrationen erforderlich ist — prognostiziert im Durchschnitt einmal im Monat oder je nach Geschäftsanforderungen.
