We're now looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Belfast operation. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll support the day‑to‑day running of the warehouse, lead a small team, and help create a safe, positive and high‑performing environment.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Leading by example to promote a strong Safety‑First culture, including the day‑to‑day use of Behaviour‑Based Safety (BBS)
  • Making sure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) are up to date, clearly displayed and followed correctly on the shop floor
  • Supporting the smooth running of the daily warehouse operation, ensuring customer and business expectations are met
  • Helping to maintain standards across quality, safety and operational management systems
  • Engaging with your team throughout the shift, encouraging positive behaviours, consistency and open communication
  • Taking ownership of issues within your area, while knowing when to elevate or ask for support

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Has previous experience in a warehouse, distribution or similar environment
  • Has experience leading, supervising or managing a small team (desirable but not essential)
  • Is confident using basic IT systems such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Is comfortable working with a level of independence and accountability
  • Is looking to develop their leadership and management skills - DHL provides training and upskilling to support your growth
