The Role

As our Go Green Sustainability Manager, you will support the strategic development and delivery of the regional Go Green agenda, ensuring alignment with DHL's divisional and global sustainability targets for 2030 and our overall mission for 2050.

Working across a diverse range of operational and functional teams, you will act as a sustainability advocate, helping to raise awareness, drive engagement, and deliver meaningful environmental improvements throughout the business.

  • A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
  • Support the strategic development and implementation of the regional Go Green agenda.
  • Contribute to the delivery of divisional and global Go Green targets for 2030 and DHL's overall Mission 2050 sustainability commitments.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, operational teams, and functional departments to raise Go Green awareness and drive sustainable change.
  • Provide expert support and guidance on sustainability legislation, processes, tools, reporting, facilitation, and best practice.
  • Define, assess, and develop strategic sustainability projects for deployment across the business.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for carbon reduction, resource efficiency, and sustainable growth.
  • Analyse sustainability data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Support the creation and delivery of engaging presentations, reports, and sustainability updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Champion and support the development of a strong Go Green culture throughout the region.
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to help embed sustainability into customer solutions and business growth strategies.

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable analysing and interpreting data to support decision-making.
  • Confident creating presentations and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a sustainability-focused role.
  • Experience within a sales and/or account management environment.
  • Understanding of account growth and customer development strategies.
  • Experience supporting sustainability initiatives within logistics, supply chain, or operational environments.
