We are looking for a Transport Clerk to join a dynamic teams within our warehouse.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Act as the first point of contact for driver queries, escalating issues to first line managers as required
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing in line with compliance and audit requirements
- Support compliance with legal, corporate, and customer requirements for safety, service, and data integrity
- Escalate driver concerns, performance issues, or welfare matters to first line managers as appropriate
- Encourage compliance with site rules, safety standards, and operational procedures during shift interactions
- Dispatch and debrief drivers, ensuring all paperwork and system entries are completed accurately and on time
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Proven administrative experience is required
- Experience working within a Transport Operation (Desirable)
- Excellent IT skills - All Microsoft packages
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Has previous experence in systems such microlise, taco master ( Desirable)
- Attention to detail , and customer service
