Pay Rate: £46,619.73 Annual Salary (includes £2,600 annual night shift premium).

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time 48hrs pw)

Shift patterns: Sunday - Thursday. Start Times available 20:00-23:00

Location: Burton-on-Trent, DE14 1PT

A typical day may involve:

  • Completing trunking runs from the brewery to various sites such as RDCs, cash & carries, and warehouse feeds for dray operations
  • Performing drop-and-swap trailer movements and occasional electric pallet truck (EPT) tipping where necessary
  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
  • Regular completion of vehicle checks

This role would suit people who:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
  • Are confident working independently, managing time well, and handling drop-and-swap trailer movements safely.
