We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Completing trunking runs from the brewery to various sites such as RDCs, cash & carries, and warehouse feeds for dray operations
- Performing drop-and-swap trailer movements and occasional electric pallet truck (EPT) tipping where necessary
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Regular completion of vehicle checks
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
- Are confident working independently, managing time well, and handling drop-and-swap trailer movements safely.
