Pay Rate: 34, 850.00Grade: RCS MContract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)Shift patterns: 37.5 hours, Any 5 from 7, rotational 7am - 3pm and 10am - 6pmLocation: Worksop - S80 3EG Are you an organised, detail-focused professional who enjoys investigating issues and seeing them through to resolution?As a Transport Traffic Controller, you'll be responsible for monitoring transport charges, resolving cost discrepancies, managing incident records and working with stakeholders to ensure queries are dealt with efficiently.This is a great opportunity to make a real impact by helping improve accuracy, control costs and support continuous improvement across the transport function.A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVETrack, investigate and resolve additional transport charges through digital platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of cost-related queriesChallenge and validate charges, liaising with external partners to resolve discrepancies and maintain cost controlLog, monitor and escalate incidents within internal systems, ensuring accurate records and supporting continuous operational improvementAct as a key control function between planning teams, coordinating activities and providing administrative and operational support to ensure a safe and efficient transport planning operationTHIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately when managing transport costs, incident reporting and operational dataConfident and tenacious communicator, able to engage with internal and external stakeholders to investigate discrepancies, resolve queries and achieve positive outcomesExcellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
