Overview
In this HSE Manager role, you will champion a strong health, safety and environmental culture across a DHL site, helping colleagues stay safe while supporting operational goals. You’ll partner with site leaders to influence decisions and drive continuous HSE improvements. You’ll lead audits, risk assessments and training, turning data and incidents into practical safety actions. Responsibilities
- Provide expert HSE support to operational teams across the site
- Analyse accident, incident and claims data to identify trends and drive improvements
- Conduct HSE audits, inspections and compliance reviews; ensure actions are completed
- Support managers with risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Deliver HSE training, awareness campaigns and safety initiatives
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external authorities to ensure compliance and governance
Key requirements
- Proven HSE experience in warehousing, logistics or similar operational settings
- Experience supporting major change programmes, onboarding projects or site starts-ups with external partners
- NEBOSH National General Certificate; working towards/holding NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent would be advantageous
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder influence across all levels
- Data analysis skills with ability to translate insights into improvement plans
