We're now looking for a Customs Team Leader/First Line Manager to lead our operations and drive success.
If you're a proactive leader with a passion for logistics, we want you on our team!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Ensure all export and import documentation is prepared in accordance with EU and UK customs requirements
- Maintain up to date knowledge of UK customs processes and EU export regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams eg Planning, NDNS, EU control towers, Brokers and Freight forwarders to ensure accuracy and SLAs are met
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work instructions
- Managing a small team of customs administrators
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO?
- Have experience managing a small team of people in an office based environment
- Have excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Computer literacy, including Excel
- Knowledge of Customs and Brokers is an advantage
- Have previous Transport Planning Experience
- Have a strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving
