Overview
In Nottingham, you will lead a newly established transport operation, shaping processes and building a high-performing team to deliver safe, compliant and efficient service. You’ll align with the business growth plan and customer expectations, driving continuous improvements and KPI performance. This role places you at the center of setting up the transport function and culture from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on leadership and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the transport team to deliver operations excellence
- Manage and review transport KPIs (KPLs, Fleet Utilisation, PvA Hours, POA) and drive improvements
- Foster a culture of sharing ideas and best practices across the network
- Promote a positive transport/network culture and support EOS initiatives
- Ensure driver and fleet compliance with legal and DHL standards
- Oversee safe, compliant and efficient transport operations in line with contract requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations and support business growth
