DHL, an award-winning leader in supply chain solutions, is looking for a HGV Class 2 Dray Driver to join our team. This is a customer-facing role with a great social element, perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships while delivering excellent service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Monday–Friday shift pattern with early starts (from 5:00am)
  • 4 Saturdays per year required as part of the role
  • Delivering alcoholic products to pubs, restaurants, and hotels
  • Completing 10–12 drops per day (on average)
  • Managing manual handling of up to 11 tonnes of stock daily
  • Driving safely and efficiently, in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Maintaining strict compliance with Health & Safety, road safety laws, and vehicle regulations
  • Working alongside a Driver's Mate to:
    • Support unloading
    • Manage Proof of Deliveries (PODs)
    • Keep the transport team updated

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (C) Licence – Essential
  • Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card – Essential
  • No more than 6 penalty points – Essential
  • Multi-drop HGV driving experience – Desirable
  • Dray or similar delivery experience – Desirable
