LGV C+E Drivers (HGV Class 1) - 4 on 4 off shift pattern - based Crick

Pay Rate: £38,555 based on a 42 hour contract - paid breaks and o/time paid at time and a half

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off shift pattern - starts available either: 02:00 and 21:00

Location: Crick, NN6 7GW (just off Junction 18 M1)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking HGV C+E Day Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Work pattern 4 on 4 off - based on 42 hours - normally 12 hour shift but can be 13 or 14 hour shifts
  • Start times available: 02:00 and 21:00
  • Duties are delivery of drinks cans, all palletised, to plants located in Sidcup, Tiverton, Maygor, Hereford etc.
  • Backhaul collections to other DHL Supply Chain sites
  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • You will live locally to DIRFT, Daventry NN6 7GW
  • Have a MINIMUM of 6 months LGV C+E commercial experience
  • Be happy working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
