Overview
As Flow Room Controller you will monitor and support warehouse automation to sustain system reliability and hit site KPIs in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will work closely with automation support teams and use analytics to identify issues and improvements. This role blends operational control with continuous improvement, shaping how our automation keeps the flow of goods efficient. Responsibilities
- Monitor warehouse automation systems and control screens
- Track alarms, resolve issues, and escalate when needed
- Keep accurate shift logs and operational records
- Assess plant equipment and systems performance across the shift
- Collaborate with automation support teams to maintain continuity
- Contribute to delivery of site KPIs including financial and operational targets
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to process enhancements
- Support prioritisation and rapid decision-making under pressure
Key requirements
- Experience in warehouse or supply chain operations
- Knowledge of JDA or Körber (WMS) and automation platforms
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
- Experience with data retrieval, reporting and analysis
- Proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
