We are looking for a Pensions Associate to join our UK Pensions team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in pensions or governance who is looking to further develop their expertise in governance and risk management.
Working closely with the Pensions Governance, Audit and Risk Manager and the wider Governance team, you will play an important role in supporting the effective operation of the Trustee Board and its committees, while helping to maintain the highest standards of governance across the UK Pension Plan.
What you will be doing In this role, you will support the delivery of governance, audit and risk management activities by: Supporting the Audit and Risk Management Committee to ensure governance responsibilities are delivered effectively and on time.
Assisting with the preparation of the annual report and accounts.
Maintaining the Plan's risk register and supporting regular risk reviews and control testing.
Contributing to Own Risk Assessment reviews and the ongoing development of the Plan's Effective System of Governance.
Supporting adviser management, budget tracking, cyber assessments, data governance and other governance-related initiatives.
This role provides excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and offers the opportunity to broaden your knowledge of pension governance, risk management and regulatory compliance within a global organisation.
What we are looking for At least 3 years' experience in pensions or governance. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
A professional pensions qualification (or progress towards one), such as APMI or an equivalent qualification, would be advantageous but is not essential.
